College World Series: South Carolina Gamecocks top UCLA Bruins, win final championship at Rosenblatt Stadium
It was a fitting end to Rosenblatt Stadium as South Carolina and UCLA delivered a memorable performance, with the Gamecocks emerging victorious in the final College World Series championship played at Omaha's historic stadium.
Pitching on three days' rest, Blake Cooper turned in one of the all-time great pitching performances against UCLA as South Carolina cruised to a Game 1 win, leaving the Gamecocks one win from their first national championship.
